Primerica currently has the following hybrid position at our corporate office in Duluth, Georgia:

The Actuarial Analyst support the pricing and product development process, primarily by maintaining and updating pricing models and associated spreadsheets, performing profitability analysis, and assisting with product filings. Assist with experience studies and the assumption setting process... Perform monthly reporting duties related to new business. Pass actuarial exams with the goal of attaining Fellowship in the Society of Actuaries (FSA).

This is hybrid position that requires working onsite at our Duluth, Georgia office and remotely multiple days each week.

The estimated salary range for this role is: 90K - 110K

Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Execution of controls to ensure modeling completeness and accuracy
• Validation of model input, calculation, and output, documentation of formal model governance and ensure its compliance
• Perform, document, and validate change control and version control for models, including assumption and methodology changes
• Determine modeling areas that should be improved
• Develop solutions that will decrease work complexity and improve workflow
• Partner with IT to optimize the hardware and flow of data into the actuarial software
• Minimize manual processes, redundancies, and runtimes
• Structure models to provide needed information to drive business decisions
• Monthly Statutory and GAAP reporting, annual business plan, annual ORSA projections, annual cash flow testing, reserve adequacy analysis and ad-hoc reporting
• Reports for reserves, annual statement, actuarial opinion, and audits
• Ad hoc reports for both valuation and projections
• Analysis of model output; documentation and explanation of key points, changes, and trends

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Actuarial Science, Math, Finance or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year experience required Actuarial experience in the life insurance industry.
• Technical computer skills including spreadsheets and database queries.
• Demonstrated ability to identify problems and alternative ways to solve those problems.
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects and tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Experience with spreadsheets, database queries, and actuarial software applications is desired. (preferably GGY-AXIS)
• AXIS modeling experience preferred.
