Experience: 10-15 years of relevant experience in patent drafting

Outline of Job Description:

§ Conduct invention understanding call and engage with different stakeholders to advice on IP strategy for an organization

§ Conduct IP counseling and IP training for clients and research on new aspects relating to patenting in a technology area

§ Mentor projects for Patent Analytics, prior art search, Patent Landscape, FTO

§ Draft complete / provisional patent application for IN & US

§ Draft response to examination reports / office action, attend hearing at IPO

§ Attend examiner call with US Examiner

§ Mentor patent drafting team for patenting aspects

Skill Requirement:

§ Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Electronics, IT, Computer Science

§ Registered patent agent, Degree in Law, IP Law specialization (Preferred)

§ Understanding of patent law in India, US and EU

§ Attention to detail and an analytical mind
