Our Client

Our client is a nameplate Melbourne based real estate debt and equity funds manager boasting a large, continually expanding investor base comprised of institutional and sophisticated investors.

Currently an Associate Director with a background in financial modelling is sought to join and lead its Portfolio function and team.

Responsibilities

This is a highly varied position that is responsible for providing critical portfolio insights and analysis to a variety of key business units, their leaders and investors whilst also supporting the deal execution team. The team undertakes analysis relating to investment product mix. portfolio returns, availability of capital and fund allocation and all associated investor / stakeholder reporting.

To undertake this... successfully, The Associate Director will leverage their experience developing complex, robust financial models and their sound interpersonal skills to provide high levels of financial rigour coupled to high-quality analytics to key stakeholders & customers.

Required skills & experience

It is likely you've completed a Commerce or related degree coupled to a post-graduate qualification such as the CFA designation.

Ideally you have a strong interest financial modelling and your experience will include developing and maintaining financial models - ideally with an understanding of portfolio models and the real estate sector (not essential).

You will have a keen interested in owning the portfolio function within a successful and growing funds manager and leading it through its next phase of evolution.
