Account Manager (Fund Accounting) career opportunity to join a large team within a leading financial services provider.
This well-established financial services business is a leader in funds administration, and data management, with a successful growth trajectory hence they seek an ‘Account Manager’ for their fund accounting division.

The role includes responsibilities to include:
• Review of unit prices for managed investment funds, private equity funds and listed investment companies.
• Detailed review of distributable income calculations for managed investment funds and liaising with external tax parties.
• Oversight and responsibility of team’s daily functions / weekly / monthly deliverables
• Staff Performance management – manage, resource, motivate, develop, and support the continuing personal & professional development of... all team members.
• Building productive & professional relationships – internal and external parties
• Transition Management / client onboarding - play an active role in the on-boarding of new clients and ensuring the effective and timely implementation of client change requests
• Project work such as system implementations / upgrades

It is a rewarding and varied position that reports directing into the Senior Manager and would suit a candidate with a degree in accounting or finance and who has solid proven work experience in a fund accounting role and seeks the next promotional step within their career.

To be considered for this role you have solid years of previous experience within investment operations & custody environment preferably with a custodian, broker or fund manager.

In addition to experience in staff management including performance management, recruitment, induction, setting KPIs, assigning tasks.

Finally, you have a good understanding of investment markets, the investment process and funds management operations.
