The ideal candidate will use their passion for big data and analytics to provide insights to the business covering a range of topics. They will be responsible for conducting both recurring and ad hoc analysis for business users.

Responsibilities
• Understanding design principles and detailed knowledge of database architecture
• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
• Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
• Work closely with team on data sourcing, collection, cleansing and mining
• Work closely with management and business users in... understanding data needs
• Produce dashboards for business insights and enable decision making through PowerBi

Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Sciences or its equivalent
• 4-5 years’ experience in data collection, management, reporting and analytics
• Technical expertise on data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, Phyton or ETL frameworks)
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, Macros, PBi)
• Sound knowledge of business processes on Finance, HR, Operations, etc relevant to FMCG business.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Adept at queries, reporting and presenting findings with excellent communication skills
• Possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills
