As a Mechanical Technician working in a pharmaceutical manufacturing plant, your primary responsibility is to ensure that all mechanical equipment in the plant is functioning optimally to support the manufacturing process. Your duties will include:

Performing routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment to ensure they are functioning properly and efficiently.

Troubleshooting mechanical equipment problems and performing repairs as necessary to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production.

Conducting regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential problems and perform repairs as necessary.

Working closely with the Equipment Maintenance Department to develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance.

Ensuring that all maintenance and repair work is performed in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry standards and regulations.

Keeping detailed records of all maintenance... and repair work performed on mechanical equipment, including maintenance schedules, repair logs, and parts inventory.

Preferred: Having experience in fabrication, lathe, milling machines, welding, and other tools and equipment commonly used in a manufacturing plant to be able to fabricate and repair parts as necessary, especially for equipment such as blistering, cartoning, mixers, and coating machines.

Maintaining a clean and safe work area, adhering to all safety protocols, and reporting any safety hazards or issues to management.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of mechanical equipment, as well as the ability to fabricate and repair parts using fabrication, lathe, milling machines, welding, and other tools and equipment commonly used in a manufacturing plant. You should also possess excellent problem-solving skills, be detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Additionally, having experience in repairing blistering, cartoning, mixers, and coating machines is preferred
