​Charterhouse is working exclusively with one of the well-known retail groups in the GCC region including a varied portfolio of fashion brands. The group is expanding their buying team due to their rapid growth and is looking to hire a Senior Fashion Buyer. This is a family business that keeps their philosophy and values at the centre of their group.

About the role
The Senior Fashion Buyer will collaborate closely with the design team to combine creativity with commerciality whilst driving the brand forward. This role supports managing the process to ensure that the collections, once designed are appropriately priced and that they are effectively produced to the quality expectations of the customer and in line with business expectations.

You will have the ability to read market trends and... apply this knowledge to make thoughtful business decisions. The role will require the ability to maintain relationships with existing suppliers whilst negotiating the best prices and quality of fabric. Time management will be crucial for ensuring the product is designed, manufactured and delivered to stores at the relevant time.

About you
To be considered for this role, the candidate should have previous experience in a Fashion Buying or Merchandising background. You will be expected to demonstrate the skills to lead a team whilst working in conjunction with the relevant stakeholders.

You will be organized and numerical with excellent attention to detail. Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal is a mandatory requirement
