Spelthorne has an excellent opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Property Lawyer to join its busy in-house legal team.
Following retirement of one of our most experienced property lawyers, we are looking for a lawyer with a proven track record of dealing with complex property transactions to support the Council’s fast moving property investment strategy as well as undertaking a varied property workload to support the management of the Council’s existing commercial and municipal property portfolios. You will also have the opportunity to support the Council’s wholly owned companies and gain experience and knowledge in this area.
You will provide support and advice to colleagues and officers of the Council as well as providing support to the team’s junior lawyers to assist their learning and development. We are looking for a positive, flexible and self-motivated lawyer who contributes good team spirit in our small... but friendly team.

This post is identified as a hybrid post supporting both office and home working in line with Spelthorne Borough Council’s policy. The post holder will be required to attend the office in line with a rota and any service requirements around two times a week.
