Job summary

The Human Resource Manager will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.

Job duties and responsibilities
• You are responsible for the recruitment and selection from A to Z.
• You take on a position of trust, both towards management and our employees.
• You support management in all operational HR aspects. You are close to the business and the employees.
• You are the point of contact for employees and provide tailor-made advice with regard to social legislation and HR projects.
• Together with your colleagues, you provide support in the field of HR, in a broad sense (recruitment and selection, welcoming new employees, development, workable work, coaching of managers, career development, etc.) and, where... useful, develop supporting material.
• Together with your team, you look after the legal, payroll, administrative and welfare-related matters of the HR department.
• You lead, coach and motivate your team of employees. You invest in their talents and further personal growth.

· You take care of the daily follow-up within HR challenges.
• You are responsible for developing and implementing correct social legislation, collective labor agreements and (new) policies.
• You closely monitor social and other relevant legislation, you interpret changes and ensure correct and timely implementation in the organizations.
• You actively and inspiringly contribute to the development of a strategic HR policy and translate this into operational HR objectives that you implement and propagate.
• You will end up in an organization in change and you will support the implementation of our new organizational model.
• You are responsible for all relevant and legal reporting, internal and external.
• You report to financial & administrative director but you are in close contact with all department heads and their employees.

· If there are training needs within the factory, you ensure that they are met within budget.

· You actively participate in recruitment campaigns, job fairs and coordinate the recruitment & selection process together with our partners.

Required qualifications
• Preferably you can present a bachelor's or master's degree in a humanities direction, supplemented by at least 5 years of experience.
• You are fluent in Dutch or French and English, orally and in writing.
• You are familiar with social legislation, experience in public administration is not a must, but it is a great added value.
• You are honest, discreet, stress-resistant and have a positive attitude.
• You have a leading role in the recruitment, selection and onboarding process at and within the company.
• You are a strong communicator at different levels and with different stakeholders.
• Social legislation has no secrets for you and you know how to apply this in daily HR operations.
• You have an eye for detail in administration and you can work in a structured way.
• You are familiar with project-based work and process optimization.
• you like to work autonomously, but attach great importance to a good team atmosphere.
• You combine conceptual thinking with a pragmatic hands-on approach.
• all communication regarding the safety and health program (including organization and reporting of meetings) and support of the technical managers.

· you are someone who is flexible, likes challenges and wants to seize this opportunity with both hands.

· You think in terms of solutions rather than problems. You don't shy away from challenges. You work result-oriented and know how to adapt to various contexts.
• You enjoy participating actively in the analysis of issues relating to manpower planning, absenteeism, retention/rotation, etc
• You also like to take responsibility, take your initiative and show your perseverance.
• You understand that HR is more than just providing correct wages. In that sense, you have already gained some experience with both blue-collar and white-collar workers.
• You enjoy the challenge of motivating people and getting them to work together.
• You can see talents in colleagues and know how to stimulate these talents.
• You have strong relational and communication skills.

· You have an analytically critical eye and maintain a helicopter perspective.
