A Leading Direct Insurer is seeking a Head of Capital Management in Hong Kong.

You will directly report to CFO, work closely with appointed actuary, Group CFO and Capital team, leading a team over 15 and managing the financial performance of the company with respect to the capital management areas.

Duties :
• Lead the department to carry out all the functions including Par Fund management, Asset and Liability management (ALM) and Capital Management
• Coordinate with investment department, actuarial department and treasury department on going manage the SAA process, liquidity and collateral position of the business and strategic hedging programmes
• Provide professional advice to product ideas, business mix and growth to our partner for the benefit of improving capital and cash generation
• Oversee the compliance of various ALM and risk management requirement from group office and regulators from Par Fund... Management and ALM perspective.
• Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and/or other requirement

Requirements:
• University graduate in Actuarial Science or Statistics with at least 15 years' post-qualification experience in life insurance industry.
• Excellent communication skills in English are required
• Knowledge in asset liability management and investment management will be an advantage
• Solid experience in people management and stakeholder management
