TITLE – HR Manager

LOCATION – Uxbridge Hybrid working 3-4 days in

SALARY – £65-80K Depending on experience

We are looking for a HR Manager to join a leading business taking the lead in the marketing of West African equity crude oil and the integration of their parent companies existing North Sea crude oil marketing.

They are looking for a HR Manager to join their team and independently manage the HR function, providing end to end generalist HR support to the UK Management Team covering all areas of the marketing and trading business. This operational role is multi-faceted covering recruitment, employee welfare and benefits, payroll, immigration, learning and development, H&S, providing advice on employment law, drafting policies and procedures. The incumbent will be the first point of contact for all HR matters for both employees and management.

You will do/be covering:

Recruitment
• Assist in the ongoing expansion of the business providing support in the end-to-end recruitment... process including the preparation of job descriptions, managing relationships with recruiters, interview and selection, providing guidance on compensation, preparing offer letters and contracts, undertaking background screening and managing onboarding processes
• Develop and maintain relationships with third-party suppliers eg recruiters, head-hunters, payroll and benefit providers, immigration and tax advisers

Compensation And Benefits
• Assist in developing an appropriate long-term compensation strategy relevant to the business sector
• Manage the employee benefits package; consulting with the broker regarding joiners and leavers and present renewals proposals in a timely manner Immigration
• Manage the application processes for the smooth transfer of expatriate staff from Head Office and maintain robust immigration records
• Support the onboarding process for expatriate staff upon arrival in the UK
• Manager the Sponsorship Licence for CUML

Payroll (local and modified)
• Manage the monthly outsourced payroll (local and expat) to record joiners, leavers, amendments and manage year-end processes eg P11d records
• Prepare payroll reconciliation for sign-off by Finance including disbursements eg pension provider, HMRC etc
• In conjunction with Finance, prepare monthly expatriate allowances within the required timelines and maintain records to use in the preparation of annual tax returns
• To liaise with external tax advisors in relation to the preparation and filing of expatriate annual tax returns Policies and Procedures
• Draft, implement and administer HR policies and Procedures in conjunction with UK employment law and Head Office policies

You will need :
• CIPD Qualified ideall
• * Previous generalist HR experience essential, gained in a trading and marketing commodity business
• Solid understanding of UK employment law
• Knowledge of payroll processes
• Demonstrable employment life cycle experience
• Experience of recruiting at all levels
