This is a full time, open ended appointment (1 FTE).
We’re looking for a CIPP qualified, experienced payroll and pensions manager with strong communication skills to work closely with stakeholders to continually improve the operational efficiency of our Finance Department.
The Payroll and Pensions Manager is an integral member of the College’s central Finance department responsible for providing a customer-focussed service to staff in Schools and Professional Services.
With the support of a Payroll and Pensions Officer and an Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for the day to day management of the Payroll function which processes payments to c.2000 employees each month.
As the manager of a busy service you will be expected to ensure that the work of the team is well balanced to meet all set... deadlines whilst consistently providing the highest level of customer experience.
In line with the Finance Department’s vision, you will ensure that the team is proactive as well as reactive and consistently exceeds stakeholders’ expectations.
Remuneration:
Grade 8 of the College's London Pay Scale which is £48,376 rising to £56,881 per annum
The salary quoted is on the College's London Pay Scale which includes a consolidated Weighting/Allowance which applies only to staff whose normal contractual place of work is in the London area.
