About this opportunity:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Freelance Translator with native-level proficiency in Brazilian Portuguese, fluency in English and experience in the Life Science industry. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with big clients and contribute to exciting projects in the Life Science Industry.

Responsibilities:

o Translate complex scientific texts and documents from Brazilian Portuguese to English and vice versa.

o Ensuring accuracy and maintaining the intended meaning of the original content.

o Collaborate with the project team to ensure deadlines are met and project objectives are archived.

o Utilize your knowledge of Life Science terminology to accurately and precisely translate scientific documents

Requirements:

o Native-level proficiency in Brazilian Portuguese and fluency in English.

o Based in Brazil

o At least 2 years of professional translation experience in the Life Science industry (Clinical Trials or/and Regulatory, Pharma)

o Strong knowledge of scientific terminology and concepts

o A degree in Translation or equivalent experience and training

o Excellent communication and writing skills

o Experience with CAT tools (especially Trados)

o Able to issue invoices
