My client is an independently owned tailormade tour operator who specialise in selling bespoke high-end travel to Latin America through both the travel trade and directly to consumers.

They are experiencing rapid growth and they are now seeking to recruit a sales driven dynamic, commercially focused Travel Sales Team Manager

This is a key appointment, and the successful Travel Sales Team Manager will responsible for managing their to team to achieve and exceed revenue targets, conversation ratios, customer service targets etc

To be considered for this role, candidates must team management experience within the travel industry gained in a similar role with knowledge of tailormade travel.

Knowledge and passion for Latin America is an advantage.

This role is offered on a hybrid basis.

Travel Sales Team Manager Responsibilities

Create a positive, competitive, and supportive sales environment where excellence is... promoted, recognised and rewarded.

Create a motivational and competitive environment through use of innovative incentives, team-building exercises, and positive attitudes.

Performance management of the sales team including setting of objectives, coaching and training

Promote a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.

Monitor the quality control process of booking handovers so accurate invoices and final documentation are processed in a timely manner.

Travel Sales Team Manager Experience Required

Extensive experience in a team sales manager role within the travel industry

Experience of setting sales goals, leading and managing a sales team.

Experience in coaching & training, tied to performance management.

Experience in the sales of tailormade luxury holidays

Knowledge and passion for Latin America is an advantage.

Excellent sales and customer service skills

Travel Sales Team Manager

Base Salary circa £38,000 + based on experience.

Performance related bonus scheme up to £12,000 per annum
