Role:

As Senior Finance Manager, you will... have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on Capital Club's financial success. You will demonstrate strong leadership, analytical skills, and a commitment to excellence, embodying the spirit of our exceptional entrepreneurial community.

Responsibilities:
• Directly reports to the CEO and COO
• Oversees and manage accounting team, responsible for the end-to-end monthly accounting processes
• Preparing and consolidating monthly financial statements, budget report and other internal reports required by the management
• Review the invoices prepared by the accountant
• Review the collection sheet
• Review the bills payment/vendor payments created by the accountant
• Review the Payroll processing
• Assist in the annual financial audit process and prepare work papers and audit schedules as assigned
• Create and/or Update SOP manuals
• Assess financial internal controls including risk assessments and review of risk areas. Assist in documenting Accounting policies and procedures and implementing financial internal controls and best practices
• Managing all aspects of the general ledger
• Collaborate with HR for payroll and other travel requirements and other department heads
• Collaborate with other department heads for finance related queries, invoices, receipts etc
• Oversee financial operations and strategy, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and other relevant regulations
• Develop and implement robust financial policies, processes, and controls to support the company's rapid growth
• Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, drive strategic initiatives, and support decision-making
• Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
• Manage the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes to align with the company's strategic goals
• Drive process improvements and automation efforts to streamline financial operations and enhance efficiency
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration between the finance team and other departments within the company
• Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth
• Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial partners

Results:
• Increase accuracy of monthly financial statements by 10% through review of invoices, collection sheets, bills payment/vendor payments, and payroll processing.
• Implement 5 new financial policies and procedures to improve financial internal controls and reduce risks, resulting in a 20% reduction in errors and inaccuracies.
• Achieve compliance with US GAAP and other relevant regulations with 100% accuracy, resulting in no fines or penalties.
• Develop and implement a financial automation strategy resulting in a 15% reduction in manual processes and an increase in efficiency.
• Manage the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes to align with the company's strategic goals, resulting in a 5% reduction in expenses and an increase in revenue by 8%.
• Develop and maintain effective communication and collaboration between the finance team and other departments within the company, resulting in a 10% increase in overall efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide financial insights and support decision-making through analysis and reporting, resulting in a 7% increase in profitability.
• Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth, resulting in a 10% increase in employee satisfaction and retention.
• Manage the annual financial audit process with 100% accuracy and timely completion, resulting in no material weaknesses or significant deficiencies identified.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Extensive knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting principles
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheet (Index-Match, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables, etc)
• Experience in Xero accounting software and bank apps like Chasebank, Wise and Payoneer
• Strong analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making
• Experience working with global teams and managing financial operations for a multinational organisation
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across the organisation
• Proven track record of successfully leading and developing high-performing teams
• Strong planning, problem-solving and organisational & time management skills and is able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
