The Finance Manager-I is responsible for preparing financial statements, maintaining cash controls, preparing the payroll and personnel administration and in compliance with all relevant corporate Acts and Legislation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage the accounting functions of Philippines entities... to ensure financial reports are prepared in an accurate and timely manner and in compliance with the corporate accounting policies and local laws.
• Reconcile the statutory accounts under applicable local GAAP to US GAAP on a periodic basis
• Maintain accounting controls by establishing a chart of accounts; defining accounting policies and procedures.
• Maintain local monthly P&L records based on the information of the corporate accounting system and perform variance analysis
• Assist on driving and closing annual statutory audits under local laws.
• Assist in preparing and filing monthly/quarterly/annual applicable returns under local corporate laws.
• Collaborate with the APAC and US corporate accounting team
• Payroll Related Responsibilities: o End to end processing of monthly payroll o Updating and maintaining payroll accounting records. o Liaising with staff and management on payroll related queries.
• Maintain VAT / Indirect tax records and ensure timely filing of regulatory returns
• Reconcile VAT records in the system to with local statutory records and US GAAP books
• Ensure VAT / Indirect tax exemption application process is properly filed and the records are properly maintained
• Miscellaneous Responsibilities:
• Maintenance of Cash forecasting
• Other Accounts related transactions.

REQUIREMENTS:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance with a Certified Public Accountant's Licensure
• A minimum of 7+ years of relevant professional experience preferably in external audit or finance functions in MNCs
• Solid knowledge on Local GAAP and US GAAP with experience in preparing reconciliation/financial statements
• Detail-oriented and able to work under tight deadlines and pressure.
• Able to work independently and multi-task
• Proven problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with MS Office products, particularly MS Project, MS PowerPoint
• Good command of English, Skills in both verbal and written communication.
