Our client is looking for Project Manager / Technical reviewer to assist our clients Project. Managers and be part of a team that delivers Quality Assurance and Control (QAC) for a large European institution, in the area of pan-European IT systems.

The project management assistant is an important QAC facilitator role, requiring independent now how in project management aspects and collaborative work with the project managers of the client organization and the team delivering quality assurance and control services, and any third party for the client organization.

Task and Responsibilities:
• Provide support for project... management activities as agreed with contact person from Central Project Team
• Acts as the project manager for a given project in the scope of the contract and take care of all aspects of the project (planning, managing team, budget, reporting on tasks progress, plan, actions, risk, issues, follow-up)
• Draft reports related to EU Customs and Taxation legislation
• Communicate with team members and stakeholder and disseminate timely information
• Enforce the quality management process to ensure that applicable procedures are respected, an adequate level of quality is achieved, and project deadlines are met
• Structure the information in ways that are appropriate to the target audience
• Understand the technological aspects of the project, including the risks and the success factors. Work with the help of experts on complex matters
• Escalate issues, in particular the ones with potential impacts on time or resources
• Provide suggestions for process, service or methodology improvements
• Review deliverables and provide relevant comments for improvement of the deliverables. Such deliverables may include: IT system specification, project plans, action and risk logs, quality and security audit reports, work instructions and sometimes presentations

Skills and Competencies:
• Experience in project management
• Excellent knowledge of project management standards and methodologies. Relevant Project / Service management certifications such as PMBoK, PRINCE2, ITIL
• Strong organizational and coordination skills
• Ability to produce clear and easily readable documents and reports, planning schedules, etc.
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to chair meetings and give presentations
• Experience in iterative/agile methodologies and relevant professional certifications;
• Experience in data processing/elaboration/analysis such as business intelligence, decision support systems is an asset
• Knowledge of Project/Service Management Frameworks: PMOK, PRINCE2, Agile, ITIL, SCRUM
• Strong technical background in some of the following fields: IT Service Development, IT Project Management, Testing, Cloud, Software
• Excellent technical writing and reviewing skills
• Experience in an international/multicultural environment is an asset
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
