Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Location: Washington
Salary: £77-£90 per day
Contract: Full-time (June 2023 - Summer 2023, with potential of extension into next academic year)
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to work with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) at a school in Washington. The successful candidate will be providing 1-to-1 or small group support to students with conditions such as Autism, Dyslexia, and ADHD.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff to ensure that students with SEN receive the support they need to reach their full potential. You will provide assistance with reading, writing, numeracy, and other aspects of the curriculum, as well as offering support with personal care and behaviour management.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children or vulnerable adults and will have a good understanding of different types of SEN. You will be patient, empathetic, and... passionate about helping students with SEN achieve their best.
This is a full-time, temporary role, offering a competitive daily rate of £77-£90 depending on experience. The successful candidate will be based in Washington and will work closely with the SENCo and teaching staff to ensure that students receive the support they require.
To be considered for this role, applicants must be currently residing in the UK and have the right-to-work in the UK. A DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check will also be required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
