The Role

In this role you will be based in year 2 and providing general classroom teaching assistance to the teacher and supporting all children including those with Special Educational needs. You will work closely with the class teachers to prepare resources and then lead groups in English and maths, reading and catch up groups in phonics. You will be focused on supporting children who require additional support within lessons and at times working with small groups. You will need to have good English and Maths skills and hold a GCSE above c in both subjects.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a class based role or graduate who is looking to pursue a career in teaching to gain classroom experience.

The school are open to applications from experienced teaching assistants and graduates who have experience working with children. Training and support will... be provided.

This role is offered on a full-time contract basis ASAP until July 2023
