Based in Tamworth the role of Transport Operator will involve working in a busy transport office environment, coordinating drivers and routing to ensure that all scheduled deliveries are completed in-line with the customer's expectations. This exciting opportunity offers an excellent basic salary of £25,000-£28,000 per year, an annual bonus scheme paying up to £3000 per year, pension and healthcare. Working hours are 6am-6pm on a 4on-4off shift pattern.

The role of Transport Operator in Tamworth will involve:

Working in a busy transport office environment.
Receiving and making high volumes of calls.
Establishing good working relationships (internal & external).
Ensuring customer service is maximised.
Managing all driver operational / delivery queries.
Re-routing, scheduling, and arranging deliveries.
Ordering of all fuel for loading through required... systems.
Providing support to Transport Managers.
Monitoring haulier performance closely.
Crisis management and investigation.
