Prodrive are looking for an experienced, flexible and reliable Transport Planner to join one our new clients in West Thurrock, Essex. Our client has been established since 1850 and have become one the UK’s leading Road Transport companies.

Transport Planner Job Role

The Transport planner will be responsible for planning a busy fleet of up to 20 vehicles; they will be working effectively with the other transport staff in the office, to plan vehicle routes by utilising their own vehicles at a minimum cost to meet all client’s requirements whilst ensuring the drivers hours are within the legal requirement.

The Transport Planner will make sure all drivers, Transport Staff and Customer are made aware of any changes that can occur on a day to day basis.

Transport Planner Shifts
• When the Transport planner first starts they will be required to do Monday – Friday only but once they are fully... trained they will be required to Monday – Friday and every other Saturday.
• The Transport Planner hours will vary between 06:00 – 15:00, 09:00 – 17:00 or 10:00 – 19:00

Transport Planner Salary Package
• Depending on experience the salary ranges between £23,000 – £27,000
• Overtime after 9 hours, rate will depend on salary

Requirements
• Transport Planner experience is essential
• Geographical knowledge of the South of England and Milton Keynes
• Experience planning multidrop deliveries
• Knowledge of driving hours and legal requirements
