What You’ll Do

We are growing rapidly, and we need to support our customers in receiving their products on time and meeting the demands of customs in different cities. You’ll be making... your mark on the future of Vanden Recycling. You’ll be passionate and naturally curious about understanding our business and entire logistics operation and how we deliver certainty to our customers.

You’ll be building an effective logistics network from Hong Kong to Europe to the rest of the world.

You’ll be hands-on, problem-solving in real-time, and working on multiple projects to improve our supply chain processes, implement vendor partnerships, and drive efficiencies in transportation/logistics.

This is a high-impact, critical role and is responsible to drive cost-out, mitigate risk and manage key supply chain projects. You’ll be targeted on acquiring the best freight rates and service solutions options that will propel sales growth in a highly competitive, dynamic trading environment.

What You’ll Need

Focused on FCL shipments to or from Asia, you must have an extensive network and proven experience working successfully with freight forwarders, carriers, and hauliers. Vast knowledge of the 2PL & 3PL industries.

You’ll need to be an excellent communicator and be able to demonstrate an optimistic and persistent approach, always open to giving and receiving feedback on performance. You won’t settle for second best, and you see challenges as opportunities to learn.

You will demonstrate that you keep up to date with the latest compliance and regulations and make sure shipments are compliant with regulations governing the movement of scrap materials and other commodities based on intended growth.

You will have previous experience in forwarding or logistics procurement with an operational focus (ideally experienced in both land transportation and the ocean freight supply chain) and knowledge of shipping documentation (import & export).

You will need to be business fluent in English and Cantonese, any additional languages are a bonus
