Ideal Experience : 15 to 18 Yrs

Ideal Education : Engineering / MBA or PG in Management & Additional certification in supply chain would be ideal

Role :
• Support volume & profitability for the organization through efficient logistics process & initiatives.
• Develop Planning strategies and implement based on agreed Demand & supply planning principles.
• Manage service level & availability at agreed level thru S&OP process.

4. Development and implementation of Policy for: Vendor selection, on-boarding, Performance monitoring and enhancing vendor performance

5. Design strategy and effective Coordination with Railways Division & Board

6. Relationship management with service partners - key Transport vendors, CFAs, Railway authorities etc.

7. Lead new projects -EV / CNG/ LNG trucks for the region.

8. Ensures focus on total delivered cost for leveraging price competitiveness capabilities.

9. Designs and implements distribution strategies (in sourcing or outsourcing, depots... evaluation, transportation means (including examining and evaluating alternate viable sources available) and distribution schemes) within the region

10. Evaluates the feasibility of the nature of contracts (short /long term, E auction) and tie-ups with suppliers

11. Ensures predictable deliveries through initiatives like Automate Transportation Management Systems such as lowest cost routing, real-time tracking, etc. to optimize regional logistics systems for better customer experience

12. Ensures logistics processes are fully automated and digitally driven to support real-time monitoring.

13. Focuses on utilization of advanced business analytics tools to derive and apply critical insights.

14. Builds strong relationship with all stakeholders in line with the organization objective.

15. Ensures the compliances of internal mechanism and statutory requirements including safety.

16. PTPK/Freight Analysis-Primary & Secondary and bench mark with other organization

17. Continuously look around & innovative ways of controlling freight costs (primary / secondary)
