The main purpose of the role is to take responsibility for the General Accounting services focusing mainly on:
Perform accounting operations according to defined standards and group policy / Process journal entries within the SAP general ledger system
Perform Month-End and year-Closing processes – calculate and post GL journals, accruals, deferrals, reconciliations (FI/SD) / Perform month end activities including journal postings, reconciliations and reviews
Reconcile and clear B/S Accounts;
Salary Reconciliations;
Define and calculate cost and revenue allocation in controlling
Manage Tax Payments and interact with 3rd party statutory/fiscal partner
Assist in preparation of Corporation Tax returns
Manage IFR16
Prepare External and Internal Audit documentation and management of internal and external Audits
Maintain compliance with the set of SOX controls applied to... departmental operations / SOX controls
Align with non-finance local departments as needed, e.g. logistics, HR, marketing, 3rd party as needed
Deliver the Internal reporting to the local stakeholders (MWB's, customers, Variance Analysis)
Responsible for all Group FP&A reporting
Intercompany X-charge responsible
BI/BW champion;
Support the implementation of SAP 4Hana (preliminary work, if needed), Ariba, FTOM (SCC)
