York Teaching Hospital Facilities Management is seeking to appoint an experienced secretary/administrator.
Working as part of the Resources Team, reporting to the Governance Manager, you will be providing executive/administrative support to the Directors of the organisation and supporting corporate and operational elements of work. (YTHFM provides support services to York & Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust across all its sites including capital projects, maintenance of the estates, car parking, transport, security, catering, cleaning, print services and accommodation).
The role will be required to work as part of a team but also exercise initiative on their own within set parameters. They will have a professional approach to work, have previous administration/secretarial experience and have the enthusiasm and willingness to learn quickly. Good organisational skills and attention to detail will be important. Excellent written and communication skills are important... The role will be required to attend meetings and take minutes. The role must be computer literate preferably in word documents, excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint.
Training can be provided.
Previous Secretarial and/or Administrative experience (2 years minimum).
Start date is as soon as possible.
Shift pattern / working hours - full time 37.5 but less hours can be accommodated and part time flexible working can be considered.
Duration - The role is initially for 7 months to sit alongside a period of maternity leave.
Salary will be between £10.29-£12.73 per hour
