Title: Corporate Governance Secretary

Location: London

Salary: Up to £45-50k per annum (dependant on experience)

Job Type: Full-time, permanent

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Governance Secretary, who has a keen interest in the music industry to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective administration of the company and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
• Managing the administration for the Board and various Committees, including scheduling meetings, collating agendas, and liaising with all members
• Minute taking for multiple Board and Committee meetings, in all cases drafting them promptly, detailing clear action points, distributing to the relevant stakeholders and following up on actions as required
• Supporting the Chief Operating Officer to develop, implement and communicate governance, risk management and compliance policies, processes and procedures
• Taking... responsibility for Health & Safety across the organisation, ensuring appropriate policies are in place
• Support in the development of corporate strategy and policy, and general administration as required

Must have Requirements
• At least 3 years' experience in a Corporate Governance Secretarial role
• Have extensive knowledge and experience in managing all areas of board / committee meetings
• Highly proficient in the use of MS Office suite with the ability to produce reports and presentations to a high standard
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• To be able to liaise and influence at all levels - within the team, with Board Directors and external contacts ranging from service providers to politicians and Heads of Business
• Proven track record of working effectively to deadlines and able to remain calm under pressure

Desirable Requirements
• Knowledge or experience of relevant legal and regulatory requirements, particularly in Company Law and corporate governance best practice
• Qualified or studying for a qualification with The Chartered Governance Institute in UK
