Are you a thoughtful, dedicated, dynamic nurse who is passionate about holistic patient care? An exciting opportunity has arisen, to appoint an Associate Community Matron based in Midsomer Norton.

As an Associate Community Matron you would work closely with the Matron, Primary care providers and other members of the Multidisciplinary team to support patients in the Adult Community setting who are vulnerable and have complex healthcare needs. You will case manage your own group of patients, with the support of the Matron, providing clinical assessments and intervention for adults in the community.

You will be based primarily in Midsomer Norton, but the Community Matron team works across BaNES, covering the areas of Midsomer Norton, Radstock and Bath areas. Because of this you must have a UK license and have access to a car for work purposes. You will participate in the duty matron rota to cover the service.

We have built organisation-wide committees in many specialist fields. You’ll... have the option to join your clinical specialism, networking with professionals from across the country. We get together regularly, auditing and sharing standard methodology for innovation and service re-design. You’ll be a part of the pool of subject matter experts bringing together clinical and operational leads. You will be a part of quality improvements, research and development activity.
