You are going to be part of
the GaN front-end (FE) R&D technology group of Ampleon in Shanghai. In this group Ampleon is developing world leading RF GaN technologies that enable Ampleon’s highly advanced RF power products. It is a multi-disciplinary team consisting, including program and project leads, process integration engineers, epi engineers, device physicists, process yield, and process reliability engineers. You will be working at the forefront of leading edge GaN technology for mobile communication

Your Challenge Identifies the relevant failure modes and mechanisms in GaN front-end process technologies Validates failure mechanisms by suitable structural and chemical analysis techniques Understands the material physics of the underlying semiconductor structures and interfaces and develops lifetime models of the dominant failure modes in the... application Determines the relevant qualification strategies based on application-specific mission profiles Defines improvements in GaN process technologies to resolve reliability bottlenecks in the end product Keeping knowledge of innovative technical developments in the relevant areas up to date
Your profile
1-3 years or above of experience in semiconductor industry Bachelor or master’s degree in Material Science or Physics In depth knowledge of and working experience in III-V semiconductor technology Experimental characterization techniques including electrical measurements and analysis of semiconductor material failure modes Experience in statistical methodologies to analyse data and develop statistical models of reliability probability Works in problem solving teams (six-sigma and 8D-approach); Have an entrepreneurial attitude, creative, hands-on mentality, strong team player Excellent communication skills Driven professional with an innovative mindset Focused on result and time to market Fluent in business English, Mandarin speaking
