Our clients tap into more than 150 specialist geoscience professionals, including engineers, geologists, geophysicists and hydrogeologists who provide comprehensive investigation and design services, with a focus on multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.

This is a great opportunity which can be based in our Newcastle, Central Coast, Port Macquarie or Coffs Harbour offices, being part of the wider Northern NSW Region's geotechnical capability from the Hawksbury River to the Queensland boarder. Working alongside our experienced team you will be involved in investigation, interpretation and design stages of exciting local and regional projects including a diverse range of small to large infrastructure, landslide remediation and mine subsidence assessment projects.

We are currently... seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer or Senior Engineering Geologist to join our specialist team on either a full time or part time basis. This exciting position, which is ideally suited to an individual intending to lead projects and develop their technical skills, has great variety and will see you involved in:
Scoping and directing geotechnical field investigations Preparing proposals and technical reports Coordinating with other groups, project teams and subcontractors Maintaining client contact and identifying project opportunities Assisting with developing junior personnel capability

What you will bring to the team:
Degree qualified in a relevant area (e.g. Civil Engineering or Earth Science) together with around 5 to 15 years' relevant experience Demonstrated solid geotechnical investigation and delivery experience on a variety of infrastructure projects, including strong judgement and decision making ability Demonstrated ability to collaborate with clients and stakeholders Well-developed time management experience, including the ability to work independently as well as lead geotechnical scopes/teams Developing project management skills Accomplished written and verbal communication skills Additional experience that would be well regarding, but not essential: Geotechnical analysis and design/drafting packages Slope stability analysis and geotechnical slope risk assessment Mine subsidence investigation and assessment
