Our client, a non-profit organization located in Toronto, is seeking a "Finance Consultant" to assist with their year-end audit.

2-month Contract opportunity, with high flexibility to work on-site or remotely.

Responsibilities:
• Preparation of year-end packages for auditors (preparing a trial balance, adjusting entries, reconciling accounts)
• Finalize Financial Statements for year-end audit
• Ensure organization is “audit ready” – Ensure all Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts have proper supporting schedules
• Responsibilities may include preparation of bank reconciliations, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax filings
• Review prior year financial statements and audit report
• Support Executive Director with the year-end audit

Qualifications
• CPA or equivalent... designation
• At least 4 years’ experience in public accounting or related industry
• Superior technical expertise in bookkeeping, accounting and tax
• Desire to work with organizations in the not-for-profit sector
• Strong knowledge of cloud-based accounting platforms e.g. QuickBooks Online, while not required, is a strong asset
