We are committed to solving the worlds biggest challenges in the areas of water, energy and urbanization Our Civil and Urban Infrastructure Business Group which provides civil engineering services to complex, community building projects is looking for a Road Design Engineers that will deliver the primary functions below: The role includes but is not limited to the following tasks: Undertaking concept and detailed designs of rural and urban roads and Highways to TfNSW and Austroads Standards using either 12d or OpenRoads which would include: Geometric design, digital terrain modelling and digital photogrammetry, coordinated Horizontal and Vertical alignment design; (cross sections, quantity take- offs, earthworks design) Training and mentoring of less experienced designers in the use of relevant software from time to time. Management Role: Controlling... coordinating and planning projects involving road designers and drafts people. Assisting project managers through attendance at client meetings and presentations etc. Technical Competencies and Experience: Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering (e.g., Bachelor of Technology, Associate Degree, or similar) and have a passion for civil infrastructure design Minimum of 5 years experience in concept and detailed design of major road and civil infrastructure projects, Minimum 5 years experience 12d or OpenRoads operation and development. Direct road and civil infrastructure design experience using relevant software; Proficient in 12D and/or Civil 3D Civil Design packages Has Strong attention to details Analytical and problem solving skills; Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team; Ability to facilitate the training of less experienced road designers; Ability to coordinate and plan the work of other design team members This job offer can be based either in Makati or Quezon City office, depending on your home base / location.
