Our leading client in the company is looking to employ a Health Safety Officer to join their dynamic team .

POSITION INFO

Job Description
Identify, report on and correct HS risks and violations
Manage Health Safety audits
Manage maintain the Health Safety and site compliance status
Manage follow up on IODs and other HS incidents
Increase Health Safety awareness on site
Arrange regulatory appointments
Conduct site induction other Health Safety and food safety training
Develop, implement and train staff on safe working... procedures
Maintain Health Safety procedure documentation
Ensure Toolbox Talks are implemented in all departments
Identify improvements from audits
Assist with Quality Control Assurance functions, when required
Job Requirements
National Diploma in Occupational Health Safety
First Aid level 2 and fire prevention certification
SAMTRAC certification advantageous
Exposure to FSSC2200 V5.1 advantageous
24 years relevant experience
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
Must be willing to work overtime, when required
