What You'll Do
At BCG you will become a pivotal member of our consulting team, working alongside some of the worldâs top minds on the forefront of climate and sustainability topics. You will collaborate closely with team members from many backgrounds, advising clients across industries on how best to reduce emissions and reach their Climate & Sustainability goals. To capitalize on the momentum and growth, current openings span levels and areas of expertise, meaning the type of work you will focus in could vary. Experts focus on developing BCG's thought leadership, commercial capabilities, and intellectual property assets; and their work is essential to our delivery model. Working alongside our traditional and specialty consultants to bring the âbest of BCGâ to our clients, Experts come from diverse backgrounds, with expertise often gained outside of BCG in industry, academia, or specialized consulting. Specifically, weâre looking for candidates with deep expertise in commercial CO2 management. You will be working with clients supporting them from, but not limited to, baselining CO2 measurements, setting decarbonization targets/ strategies/ roadmaps, inclusive of practical implementation solutions such as deriving abatement curves, developing internal pricing mechanisms, up/downstream supply chain CO2 management, and helping them in defining high-quality offset strategies. Also, youâll be instrumental in standing up tracking and reporting tools tailored to client and industry needs and in tying these together with the development of winning strategies for a low-carbon economy.

What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)
• 5+ years in environmental commercial CO2 management and/or industry experience
• Knowledge of key topics related to commercial CO2 management (e.g., measurement, abatement, internal pricing, offset strategies, etc.)
• Ability to develop leading-edge business models, frameworks for analysis, and long-term business strategies that maximize shareholder value
• As appropriate based on tenure, proven ability to manage client engagements, and client relationships, and provide âthought leadershipâ to teams, owning the responsibility for the quality of engagements. A combination of management and âhands-onâ delivery experience is critical
