Job Summary: The Nurse Practitioner provides clinical services and/or assists physicians within their specific scope of expertise. The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for independent decision making in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This position may also be involved with assisting or instructing students. This position may supervise other positions.
Additional Department Summary: University Medical Center - Livingston is seeking a Nurse Practitioner that will be primarily located in Livingston, Alabama.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Completion of a Nurse Practitioner Certification Program. Current/valid RN... license in the state of Alabama. Two years of broad or specialized professional experience as a nurse. Excellent clinical, organizational, and administrative skills. Ability to work independently. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, students, faculty, and other health care professionals.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Licensed to practice in the state of Alabama and eligible for collaboration.
