Summary of Position:

As Occupational Therapist Evaluate and treat patients, under orders from the referring physician, through the use of a variety of therapeutic procedures, to restore function, relieve pain, and to improve movement and function.

Responsibilities:
• Performs medically prescribed occupational therapy treatments to restore function and prevent disability following injury.
• Performs evaluation diagnostic test and skilled occupational therapy procedures on patients.
• Instructs patients, caregivers and other medical personnel regarding safe performance of procedures and other supportive activities.
• Collaborates with physician to ensure that orders are obtained.
• Participates in the development and re-evaluation of the patient plan of treatment in collaboration with and under the approval of the physician.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team across the continuum of care and functions as case manager as needed.
Qualifications /Skills :
• Graduate of an OTA approved and accredited college of Occupational Therapy - REQUIRED
• 1+ years of recent Home Care experience - REQUIRED.
• OASIS Experience - REQUIRED
• Homecare Home Base EMR – Highly Preferred
• Previous travel – Highly Preferred
Salary Range: $50-$60 /hr on W2

Benefits:

$100 sign on bonus (will be paid on the first paycheck) & $250 bonus after contract ends.

Schedule:

9:00AM to 5:30PM
