JOB DESCRIPTION:

RS Recruitment Services is assisting a large organisation in the RETAIL INDUSTRY to recruit a SALES SPECIALIST to be based in NORTHERN KZN OR DURBAN NORTH +- 30k pm ctc including benefits OUR CLIENT HAS BEEN SUCCESSFULLY DOING BUSINESS IN THE ZULULAND AREA FOR OVER THREE GENERATIONS AND HAS GROWN INTO AN ORGANISATION THAT NOW EMPLOY MORE THAN 1 000 PEOPLE.

This position would suit someone with a retail and construction background as there is allot of practical parts of the job helping stores set up.
This position requires allot of travel to different branches in Northern KZN.

Applicants should be/have the following:
Matric certificate.
At least 5 years' experience in hardware sales.
A team player.
Experience as a sales manager, coordinator or team leader in a retail environment is vital.
Experience with electricals or plumbing.
Honest and... reliable.
Disciplined and able to work independently.
Self-starter with a passion for sales .Customer focused.

Responsibilities:
Sales and promotions.
Customer service.
Merchandising.
Assisting stores in setting up and building displays (this includes some electrical/plumbing background or knowledge)Stock control.
Housekeeping.
Assist Buyer by advising which items are out of stock or have reached a low level.
Advise buyer of special requests from customers.

Remuneration:
+- R30 000 pm ctc including benefits
