Mō te tūranga | About the Role

We are in the market for an Associate Director Treasury Controls to work in the Treasury Team at our modern Britomart office. In this exciting role you will be responsible for supporting the continuous improvement of the control environment within Treasury. You will be pivotal in further strengthening Treasury risk management practices, particularly Treasury’s model governance programme; and becoming the Treasury SME in relation to data management.

To succeed in this role, you will have
• You will either come from one of the big four accounting firms or you... will have 5+ years’ experience working in a risk related role – experience within Treasury (within a bank or a corporate) or a passion to learn in this space, is advantageous
• Strong knowledge of 3 Lines of Defence Model and its application in a large organisation
• Ability to prioritise and deliver despite competing priorities and deadlines
• Strong relationship building skills and the ability to collaborate across wider teams to facilitate business outcomes
• Influencing skills whilst also being able to challenge, in order to support a proactive risk management approach
