Viasat Arizona (VAZ) is our cutting-edge facility responsible for building residential and mobility transceivers, RF modules, payloads, antennae, and various other components which can be found on commercial aircraft terminals, satellite terminals, and more!

As an RFIC Design Engineer, you will support both our government and commercial programs and work on a diverse and wide breadth of products. You will collaborate with a design team to perform advanced-level RF/Microwave/mixed-signal Systems on Chip IC design of complex circuits. Circuit designs including RF and Microwave (>5GHz), analog/baseband, and digital subsystems such as mixers, VGAs, VCOs, PLLs, LNAs, DACs, etc. With your high level of experience, you will design custom IC circuits on State of the Art SiGe and CMOS processes, particularly at 90um SiGe process technologies and CMOS process technologies at 65nm, 45nm, and below.
• Minimum of 5 years in CMOS/SiGe System on Chip RFIC design experience
• Demonstrated RF & Microwave/Mixed-Signal Circuit/ASIC design experience in SiGe & CMOS process(es)
• Test/Measurement/Debug capability for RF communications chipsets
• Proficient use and knowledge of Cadence Virtuoso, EMX, and Spectre
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering degree
• U.S. Citizenship
• Up to 10% of domestic travel
• Minimum of 7 years of RFIC design experience
• Demonstrated ability to design high-speed communication, phase array, and radar system on chip design architectures
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering

$109,000.00 - $179,750.00 / annually
