About the Role

The Quality Assurance Director will lead the quality assurance global team covering software (firmware, apps and cloud).You will work with the Digital Systems Leadership team to deliver high quality products that our customers demand on the water.

With around 250 people in global Digital Systems sites this is a key role in the leadership team to deliver new to the world products to meet the seasonal demands with the quality our customer demand.

About You

You will be highly competent in leading a large global QA team in an agile environment and monitoring / reporting key measures for the wider engineering to improve against. You will take a holistic approach to quality using root cause analysis and have an agile mindset to create sustained improvements.

Key... responsibilities include:
• Leading the quality mission at Navico Group Digital Systems with support from the leadership team
• People development in the QA pathway, developing talent from interns to senior QA professionals.
• Coaching and mentoring in a QA mindset and practices.

To succeed in this role it will be helpful to have:
• 3-5 years’ experience in a global QA manager role
• 10+ years of experience in QA
• Knowledge of embedded software, SaaS, mobile, hardware, ML
• Proven leader of people that can get results and the best of our people
• Proven history of delivering results
• Strong analytical and critical problem-solving skills
• Implementing, evolving and reporting appropriate measurements and metrics
• Proven history of delivering results.
