Smoking Cessation Programme

The two-year HKSAR DH funded Programme aims to provide one-stop free-of-charge services of smoking cessation support for people of diverse race and NI (inclusive) from 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2025. The Services of the Programme include smoking cessation by pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions; face-to-face, telephone and mail-to-quit modes, one-on-one counselling and follow-up services to smokers (Service Users), smoking cessation related training and educational activities to local healthcare workers and the community. The Services of the Programme are to be conducted by a team of medical professionals, including medical doctor, registered nurses... and counsellors. The service locations include Kwun Tong, Diamond Hill, Shatin, Tseung Kwan O area.

Requirements:
• Nurse registered with the Nursing Council of Hong Kong in accordance with the Nurses Registration Ordinance (Cap. 164) and possess a valid practising certificate;
• At least three years of relevant post-registration working experience.

Job Duties:
• Be responsible for the provision of the Services of Smoking Cessation Programme;
• To answer enquiries from and provide health advice and counselling to clients;
• To manage issues relating to smoking cessation treatment;
• To conduct training and educational activities for the service team and the community.
