This is to work in their flagship store that has been established for 20 years. The store offers an exciting range of tools, ironmongery, and building materials to home goods, wall décor, crafts & gardening /outdoor furniture.

Key responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the team including appraisals, setting KPI's according to the top management's directions, recruitment and trainings.Category management and assortment building and optimisation.Understand consumer trends to plan a strategy in line with market requirements.Source the best products, locally and internationally.Include sustainability both in category management and in the sourcing process.Review current and develop new robust processes and procedures.Present Team Structure and Budgets for the next Financial Year (turnover... mark-up, stocks, rebates) and make sure to keep on track.

Key requirements:
5+ years Buying experience with at least 2 years in a management positionBackground in Branded Buying in Retail, Ecommerce or B2CPrevious experience in DIY, Hardware, Home, Furniture, Food or General Merchandise, etcA university degree (qualification at MQF Level 4 or higher) in relevant areas including procurement, business administration, sales and marketing, management, or commerceCommercial and business awareness
