Job description

Applicants are invited for a two year position as a Researcher with a PhD (position code 1109) or Researcher without PhD (position code 1108) in the project "Speaking up for the quiet ones: Voicing the perspectives of shy students in middle schools", to be based at the Department of Special Needs Education, University of Oslo.

The project “Speaking up for the quiet ones: Voicing the perspectives of shy students in middle schools” is a study in three phases exploring shy students’ experiences and their teachers’ use of strategies. The announced position will concentrate on phase two in the project.

The goal of phase two is to conduct a large-scale quantitative study to evaluate a complex theoretical model linking shyness among early adolescents to aspects of school adjustment.
