Expert Data scientist

Scope of work:
• Initiate and lead discussions with the 3 business units (Oncology, Vaccines and Hospital Acute Care) to understand their challenges, collect their needs, and ensure continuous alignment
• Identify use cases where data science / statistical tools can bring new perspectives or improved efficiency
• Create, document, and maintain a pipeline of data science use cases
• Develop efficient code, preferably in Python, and leverage data from different sources
• Interact with data team colleagues and IT stakeholders to bring use cases to fruition
• Deliver issue-based solutions and qualitative results that support the business to make faster and data driven decisions
• Tell stories with data and present... use cases to mixed business audiences

Profile:
• MSc with 3+ years of experience in computer science, applied mathematics, or quantitative/computational discipline
• Solid foundations in data with previous experience operating as an individual contributor with data skills
• Strong background in statistical concepts and calculations
• Comfort in manipulating and analyzing complex data from diverse sources
• Ability to communicate quantitative analysis to business stakeholders in a clear and simple manner
• Experience in managing and driving data analytics projects
• Ability to work in a cross-functional environment
• Ability to act as a team player and interact with a vast array of stakeholders, but also can work independently
• Result oriented and creative mindset
• Fluent in English
