Do you think you could be a trustee at a vibrant charity providing an arts centre and forest school for adults with learning disabilities in Cambridge and the surrounding area?
What will you be doing?
Rowan is keen to add trustees to our current board and is particularly looking for people with a background in
• Safeguarding
• Health and safety
• Fundraising
We are looking for people with time to commit to attending our trustee meetings, currently held monthly on a Wednesday between 5pm and 7pm, usually at 40 Humberstone Road, Cambridge plus our Annual General Meeting. As well as being an ambassador for the charity, we hope you will join a sub committee or support/mentor a member of staff.
This is a voluntary role, but reasonable out-of-pocket expenses will be reimbursed. We will also provide all necessary, ongoing training to support you in this role. Please note a DBS check will be required.
