Corinthia Hotel St. George's Bay in Malta is currently looking to recruit an Assistant F&B Manager to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Role:

An exciting opportunity has risen for a self-motivated and energetic Assistant F&B Manager for the Corinthia Hotel St George's Bay. Reporting directly to the F&B Manager, this position requires an individual with previous experience in a supervisory or junior management role preferably within the hospitality industry.

Key Competencies:
• Exercises administrative control and coordination of all F&B operations including staffing, training, scheduling, ordering, inventory control and facility maintenance and cleaning
• Plans and oversees F&B services for special events and banquets
• Guides and assists all outlet Managers/Supervisors in the day-to-day operations
• Coordinates and supervises the presentation and service of food products to ensure the highest quality at all times
• Establishes and maintains effective employee relations
•... Frequently interacts with guests to ensure satisfaction and gain feedback
• Ensures the group's standards are maintained at all times
• Supports the F&B Manager in all F&B planning and organization
• Deals with complaints by resolving issues there and then

Requirements:
• Have three years of Food and Beverage supervisory experience
• Is flexible in attitude, approach and working hours
• Have good food and beverage knowledge
• Possess a valid Food Handlers Licence
• Have good command of English language, spoken and written
• Have good knowledge of Micros Fidelio POS system
• Be guest focused with an outstanding personality
• Able to work on his/her own and within a team
• Flexible to work on a shift roster including; weekends, nights and Public holidays.
