About the role:

Join our Nutrition and Dietetic team as an exceptional New Zealand Registered Dietitian based in the Renal department at Whangarei Hospital.

This is a permanent, part time position working 36 hours per week. Further part time options will also be considered.

In this role you will deliver dietetic care to renal patients within Te Whatu Ora – Health NZ and across Te Tai Tokerau.

We provide patient/ whanau centred care which is safe, effective and outcome focused. This role works within a multi-disciplinary framework, where the majority of your working time is patient related... There will also be opportunities for service development work and professional development.

Te Whatu Ora Te Tai Tokerau is committed to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and holds stewardship for equitable health outcomes for Māori as Tāngata Whenua as the highest priority.

Key requirements:
• Current registration with the Dietitians Board of New Zealand with Prescriber's Endorsement
• Be an excellent communicator
• NZ Driver's license
• Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
• Proven time management and delegation skills

Renal dietetic experience is desirable but not essential to apply.
