A boutique and specialist firm are seeking a hard-working and diligent individual who would like to establish a career in Recruitment.

The individual may already have some Recruitment experience or simply be interested in making a career change and working within the Recruitment sector.

The Recruitment Consultant will work closely with the Recruitment Director of the business, supporting their client work and will be encouraged to build out relationships.

Whilst the Recruitment firm is based in Billerica Essex, they specialise in Financial Services clients who are based in the City of London. Travel to London for client meetings will be only on occasion.

The Trainee Recruitment Consultant will be guided to gain knowledge of the Investment Management & Private Banking industry so that they can fully understand the needs of the clients.

Support the Recruitment Director to interview candidates to assess their suitability for the positions. Screening candidates and drawing up... shortlists of candidates for clients to interview and organising interviews.

Searching for relevant candidates by utilising specialist recruitment websites and social media tools.

Preparing candidates for their interviews and managing them throughout the process from first interview all the way through to offer stage.

There would also be a real opportunity to assist in building out the recruitment company brand, coming up with ideas to attract new business and leading on branding and social media projects.

This role would suit a highly organised and driven individual who enjoys the entrepreneurial nature of a smaller business within a down to earth and hard working office.

Career progression and longer term earning potential is highly competitive where the individual is genuinely interested in building an opportunity for themselves within a growing recruitment business.

Enthusiasm and confidence is key.

Candidate Requirements

A real interest in Recruitment or an individual who has a couple of years Financial Services work experience and who is keen to make an exciting career change.

A willingness to learn and apply themselves to any situation.

Good sense of judgement - essential

Highly organised and diligent with the ability to be flexible.

Ability to be articulate and be professional.

Comfortable to work in a fast paced environment.

Commercially minded and switched on.

An interest in the Investment Management / Private Banking sector.

A knowledge of the financial services industry would be highly beneficial but not essential.

Excellent Customer Service & Client Facing skills
