Senior Architect / Project Architect

A leading international multidisciplinary organisation are recruiting a qualified RIAI Registered Architect with strong design, technical and creativity skills to join the architectural team Cork city.

The senior level Architect will ideally have 10 years'+ post professional qualification experience, have full familiarity and experience working with current industry regulations and have proven success in a leadership role managing a team and complex projects in a BIM environment.

This opportunity would suit a highly motivated and creative Architect, with a passion for sustainability and the circular environment who can demonstrate good design, and organisation skills with previous experience delivering architectural projects alongside a multidisciplinary team and ensuring a timely project handover.

Minimum requirements and responsibilities:
• RIAI Registered Architect (or eligible for registration)
• A minimum of 10 years' post professional... qualification
• Proficiency in Revit is desired and experience working within a BIM environment
• Thorough understanding on Irish Building Regulations and BCAR system
• Proven success managing design teams and delivering complex and technical projects within a multidisciplinary environment
• Creative, possessing good graphic skills
• Experience in producing detail design packages and delivering projects through construction and handover in Ireland or the UK
• Contract administration experience desired
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience in delivering sustainable buildings preferred
• Ability to collaborate across other disciplines to produce coordinated project information including BIM models, drawings, and specifications etc.
• Excellent communication, organisation and planning skills
• Project experience should include science, technology or industry or technically complex buildings is advantageous
• The ability to support the Lead Architect and coordinate the team and projects
