Adult Acquired - Community and Inpatients

Are you a Speech & Language Therapist looking for an opportunity to further develop your skills as part of a dynamic SLT team, on the beautiful Isle of Wight, situated a few miles off the English South Coast?

Are you committed to the Speech & Language Therapy profession and keen to provide a high quality service to your clients?

This role requires a flexible and innovative Speech & Language Therapist to work within a dedicated Adult SLT team working across inpatient stroke, Community Stroke Rehabilitation Team... outpatients and patients own homes. There will also be an opportunity to work with Adults with Learning Disabilities.

The Speech and Language Therapy Service provides an excellent clinical supervision programme, active professional development, service development working parties and actively supports student placements from a number of Universities.

You Will Need To/have
• Relevant qualifications and current registration with H.C.P.C
• Current clean, full driving license
• A combination of relevant skills, experience and knowledge in a range of conditions and settings
• Contribute to the development of the Speech and Language Therapy Service
• Demonstrate high-level written and oral (including telephone) communication skills
• Be self-motivated and able to work in a team environment
• Knowledge and understanding of the application of quality care and evidence based practice
• Demonstrate high level of organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work within the Values and Visions framework of the Isle of Wight NHS Trust
