We currently have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and driven New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer to join our Product Development team based at our Bella Vista campus, Sydney.

Let’s talk about the role:

In this role you experience and knowledge will see that your day brings satisfaction and passion whilst you take responsibility for the following tasks;
• Implementing manufacturing processes, equipment, facilities and documents to meet current and future production volume and delivery requirements.
• Actively provide constructive technical feedback and recommendations to ensure robust, manufacturable product. Engage external supplier as appropriate.
• Understand project risk, develop contingencies, track milestones and deliver project outcomes... on time.
• Introduce & maintain production procedures.
• Provide training on new equipment, processes & procedures as required.
• Complete process validation activities & documentation.
• Identify & implement GMP, Six-Sigma LEAN improvement actions.
• Introduction of new products, equipment and processes into manufacturing in compliance with ResMed quality management system requirements
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to achieve best in class operational measures of quality and efficiency and work closely with the production and Product Development teams to resolve technical issues

Let’s talk about you:

To be successful in this role, you will be a highly driven and passionate individual with a Biomedical, Mechatronics or Mechanical or related degree with strong technical aptitude as well as your tertiary qualifications. You will ideally have at least 3 years’ experience in a medical/ regulated industry, have a Lean/ Six Sigma/ Continuous Improvement attitude and be willing to apply systems thinking whilst being a natural problem solver. However most importantly you will also be a team player with excellent verbal communication and documentation skills, a strong drive for results and the ability to manage tasks and time line to delivery.

The NPI department located in Bella Vista is an advanced Manufacturing Site and the team is required to provide products for the regional markets globally. Machine manufacturing focuses on all aspects of assembly, test and packing of electromechanical devices.
